Prerequisite – Cranial Sacral Therapy 1 and thorough working knowledge of the 10-step
Procedure. Cranial Sacral Therapy II studies the cranial base dysfunctions. CST addresses TMJ dysfunction by: Reducing Muscle Tension: Gentle manipulations help relax the muscles around the jaw and neck, reducing pain and improving movement. Enhancing Fluid Movement: By promoting the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid, CST aids in decreasing inflammation and enhancing healing. Easing Emotional Stress: TMJ dysfunction is often exacerbated by stress. CST’s calming effect can reduce the overall stress load, potentially easing symptoms. The focus will be on mandible, temporomandibular joint, hard palate, and whole-body evaluation, this course will take your Cranial Sacral palpating and treatment skills to another level.
We will practice Cranial Sacral Therapy I on the first afternoon.
Review and reinforce your ability to feel Cranial Sacral movement.
Practice how to palpate and follow the body’s Cranial Sacral movements into restrictive patterns and how to help them release.
Discuss the bones, suture and landmarks of the face and intra-oral cavity and their role in the cranial sacral system.
Learn techniques to release strain patterns in the face and jaw and shift stress and dysfunction.
Explore mouth work techniques for releasing strain patterns inside the oral and nasal cavities.
Learn to work with children and infants.
Practice and receive a protocol specifically for the face and cranium.

Cranial/sacral Therapy I is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the cranial/sacral system. This therapy enhances the body’s natural healing processes to improve the operation of the central nervous system, dissipate the negative effects of stress, enhance health, and strengthen resistance to disease. During this 20-hour course, the benefits of Cranial/sacral Therapy will be covered, along with the basic techniques you can use in your practice and for your own health. If you are a yoga instructor, it is great to add into a restorative practice. You will learn a protocol that you can take to your table and begin using right away.
